The scores are all saved on the device, therefore it is important to regularly back it up via iTunes. On a new device, the scores can be transmitted with the restore function from iTunes (or any other mean of restoring an iPhone).
A synchronization of the scores via iCloud is unfortunately not possible at the moment.
